The defaults still pointed at a stale dixon.cx placeholder from before the rebrand. Releases are now published under https://alchementary.co.uk/download/link, so future release.sh runs without an explicit LINK_UPDATE_URL/LINK_RELEASE_BASE_URL embed the real update-check and download URLs.
