- Rewritten in Rust. Flags, keys, views, themes, the configuration file and
the snapshot format are unchanged: snapshots from earlier releases open as
before, and older releases open new ones. Measured against 1.2.0 on the
same machine, scans are about 1.3× faster with a third less memory, cold
treemap frames about 3× faster, and filters up to 1.8× faster (see
PERFORMANCE.md). - Release builds: Linux (x86-64, ARM64, 32-bit x86, ARMv7, RISC-V 64),
macOS (Intel, Apple silicon), Windows (x86-64, ARM64), FreeBSD and NetBSD
(x86-64), built and published by CI. OpenBSD and FreeBSD/ARM64 builds are
no longer produced. --logand--log-levelare accepted but no log is written yet;
--cpuprofileand--memprofileare removed.- Install from source with
cargo install; the Homebrew formula builds with
Rust.

- A search containing certain non-ASCII text (for example
voilà) no longer
hangs.
